Who is Brandon King?
A motion and graphic designer? A passionate, creative problem solver? A video game and Pokémon fanatic?
All of the above, welcome to my world.
Originally trained in graphic design, my interest in animation led me to enrol on the Motion Design course at Created Academy. Here I developed my skills in After Effects, Cinema 4D and Blender to produce a mix of 2D and 3D animation. I currently work as a Midweight Designer for tech consultancy firm FDM. As a member of the in-house Creative Team, I liaise with global stakeholders to realise their briefs, producing content for social, print, templates and events, as well as rolling out the company's first rebrand in over 20 years, a process still evolving.
Prior to this, I graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2015 with a First Class Honours in Interactive Design, before working as a Graphic Designer for six years at children's publisher Mantra Lingua, followed by two years as a Motion & Graphic Designer at telecoms provider Swish Fibre.
Always keen to diversify my craft, I continue to develop my skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, whilst exploring other tools like Figma and Midjourney.
